To νέο Megane CC διαθέτει, όπως και ο προκάτοχός του, γυάλινη αναδιπλούμενη οροφή με το μεγαλύτερο διάφανο τμήμα στην κατηγορία (0,47 m2) και ηλεκτροϋδραυλικό μηχανισμό αναδίπλωσης, διαδικασία που χρειάζεται 21 sec. Η πρόσβαση στην καμπίνα είναι πιο εύκολη, σε σχέση με το απερχόμενο μοντέλο, μια και το επάνω μέρος της εμπρός κολόνας είναι τοποθετημένο 6 cm πιο μπροστά.
Επίσης, το νέο Megane CC έχει στον βασικό του εξοπλισμό έναν γυάλινο ανεμοθραύστη, που είναι τοποθετημένος πίσω από τα πίσω καθίσματα. Σύμφωνα με τη Renault, ο ανεμοθραύστης εξαλείφει τους στροβιλισμούς του αέρα μέχρι τα 90 km/h. Η Renault αποκάλυψε σήμερα τις πρώτες φωτογραφίες του νέου Megane Coupe-Cabriolet, που θα παρουσιαστεί επίσημα στο Σαλόνι της Γενεύης στις 2 Μαρτίου. Το νέο Megane CC είναι το πέμπτο μέλος της "οικογένειας" του Megane (μετά τα Coupe, Hatchback, Scenic και Grand Scenic) ενώ θα κατασκευάζεται στο εργοστάσιο του Douai μαζί με τα Scenic και Grand Scenic.
To νέο Megane CC διαθέτει, όπως και ο προκάτοχός του, γυάλινη αναδιπλούμενη οροφή με το μεγαλύτερο διάφανο τμήμα στην κατηγορία (0,47 m2) και ηλεκτροϋδραυλικό μηχανισμό αναδίπλωσης, διαδικασία που χρειάζεται 21 sec. Η πρόσβαση στην καμπίνα είναι πιο εύκολη, σε σχέση με το απερχόμενο μοντέλο, μια και το επάνω μέρος της εμπρός κολόνας είναι τοποθετημένο 6 cm πιο μπροστά. 
Επίσης, το νέο Megane CC έχει στον βασικό του εξοπλισμό έναν γυάλινο ανεμοθραύστη, που είναι τοποθετημένος πίσω από τα πίσω καθίσματα. Σύμφωνα με τη Renault, ο ανεμοθραύστης εξαλείφει τους στροβιλισμούς του αέρα μέχρι τα 90 km/h. Ο χώρος αποσκευών του 4θέσιου coupe-cabrio της γαλλικής εταιρείας φτάνει τα 417 λίτρα με την οροφή κλειστή, και τα 211 όταν ανοίξει, ενώ η φόρτωση διευκολύνεται από το χαμηλό κατώφλι (590 mm απόσταση από το έδαφος). 
Η ανοιχτή έκδοση του Megane θα προσφέρεται με τρεις βενζινοκινητήρες: 1.6 με 110 ίππους, 1.4 turbo (TCe) με 130 ίππους, και 2.0 με 140 ίππους. Οι δύο πρώτοι συνδυάζονται με χειροκίνητα κιβώτια 6 σχέσεων, ενώ ο 2λιτρος με διαρκώς μεταβαλλόμενης σχέσης (CVT). Επίσης, διατίθενται και τρεις τουρμποντίζελ με ισχύ από 110 έως 160 ίππους, ενώ για πρώτη φορά θα προσφέρεται και ημιαυτόματο κιβώτιο διπλού συμπλέκτη (EDC: Efficient Dual Clutch) -σύμφωνα με το δελτίο Τύπου, αρχικά μόνο με τον μικρότερο ντίζελ.
